Job summary

The Mosaic Company in Florida is offering a Process Engineer Co-Op/Intern position for Spring 2027 at the Four Corners site in Bradley, FL, with travel to other Florida sites. Housing and relocation can be provided for qualified candidates.

This internship puts you on special projects, assisting engineers on major initiatives to improve facility efficiency and product quality. As a student, you will perform day-to-day tasks such as troubleshooting, piping tracing, mass and energy balances,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Mining Engineering by Jan 2027.
• Minimum 2.75 GPA.
• Willingness to work in an industrial chemical and mining environment.
• 1–2 years of related volunteer/work experience preferred.
• Previous internship or co-op experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license; travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot to identify root causes of problems.
• Trace pipes and equipment in the field to correlate with drawings.
• Assist with equipment efficiency tests and develop a process flow diagram.
• Perform mass and energy balances for chemical processes.
• Engage in computer modeling activities.
• Assist Turnaround and Repair Day inspections as required.
• Communicate with personnel across management, operators, engineers, trades, and contractors.
• Participate in department and project meetings.
• Adhere to Mosaic’s mission, guiding principles and priorities.
