Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Engineering Intern to join our Water Services Team in Carlsbad, CA. You will work with a team of experienced engineers on a diverse portfolio of municipal, federal, and industrial projects, researching engineering solutions to support analyses, reporting and design.

As an intern or co-op, you will develop documents and presentations and may assist with fieldwork to gain full lifecycle experience.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Pursuing degree with related coursework in water resources or environmental engineering.
• Availability for internship/co-op with potential field exposure.
• Experience with ArcGIS or related software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in researching engineering solutions to support analyses, reporting and design on projects.
• Develop documents and presentations using tools such as ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM and Excel.
• Support fieldwork for construction management activities to gain project lifecycle experience.
