Job summary

Akima Intra-Data (AID) seeks an Environmental/Energy Manager to oversee environmental compliance and energy management for facility maintenance and DoD contract operations. You will ensure EMS alignment, develop strategies, and coordinate across teams to meet sustainability goals while managing regulatory requirements.

The role requires a bachelor's in environmental fields, at least two years of EMS experience, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Pass background investigation.
• Minimum two years’ experience with environmental procedures and EMSs.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and federal energy laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EMS, Installation Energy Plan, and sustainability requirements impacting contract performance.
• Serve as primary environmental and energy compliance contact for contract activities.
• Develop and implement environmental strategies and programs.
• Conduct audits and assessments for compliance and improvement.
• Prepare reports for government stakeholders.
• Lead energy and water reduction initiatives and renewable energy integration.
