Job summary

AmeriCorps & Senior Corps in Boise seeks an AmeriCorps member to educate Treasure Valley students and community members, develop environmental education lessons, and recruit volunteers for special events. The role includes delivering programs and assisting with logistics.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.
• Fluent in English and able to commit to full term of service.
• Must pass fingerprint background checks and City of Boise checks.

Responsibilities

• Educate multi-age audiences through lessons and community programs.
• Develop and lead service-learning and habitat restoration projects.
• Recruit, supervise and train volunteers for programs and events.
• Assist in scheduling and program delivery using MS Office tools.
