Job summary

Ramboll US Corporation seeks a Managing Consultant or Senior Managing Consultant to lead environmental due diligence within our global M&A Transactional Due Diligence practice in the Columbus, Ohio area. You will oversee Phase I ESAs, environmental compliance reviews, and post-transaction integration for industrial and PE clients, guiding multi-disciplinary teams.

Applicants should have 7+ years in Phase I ESAs and a consulting background, with strong proposal development, budgeting, and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant environmental discipline (e.g., geology, environmental or chemical engineering, environmental science)
• At least 7 years of experience in Phase I ESAs and environmental compliance reviews for industrial facilities
• Experience developing proposals and cost estimates for transactional due diligence
• Experience in analysis of investigation and remediation of contaminated sites
• Knowledge of emerging contaminants, ESG, product stewardship and safety

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate environmental due diligence projects for industrial, private equity, and legal clients
• Manage and assist with environmental compliance reviews of industrial facilities
• Support clients with compliance permitting, reporting and record keeping
• Develop proposals and cost estimates for transactional due diligence and compliance projects, manage budgets and client deliverables
• Review site investigation reports and provide conclusions and recommendations
• Lead a small group of junior Environmental Due Diligence professionals
• Lead client discussions and maintain strong client contact
