Job Summary

We are seeking an environmental department manager to join our team! We are a Florida based consulting company specializing in environmental and ecological services, geotechnical engineering, and construction materials testing services. As the Environmental Department Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing PACSCON's environmental and ecological consulting service line. Your duties include client and business development, staff management, and project oversight. This leadership role offers competitive compensation and potential profit sharing and ownership opportunities. A demonstrated seller-doer track record and Florida professional licensure are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental and ecological services and oversee the environmental department
• Maximize profits for the department
• Manage staff daily tasks
• Meet with clients and solicit business
• Hire, evaluate, mentor employees
• Quote costs and fees to clients
• Prepare proposals and reports
• Manage office personnel, reporting, and invoicing
• Coordinate personnel and equipment within the department
• Assist with other company assignments as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Florida's environmental services market, especially central Florida
• Experience with environmental assessment, engineering, remediation, ecological surveys, and permitting
• Experience managing an environmental/ecological services department is a plus
• Florida professional licensure is preferred but not required
