Job summary

Aerostar Environmental and Construction (AEC), a BBCH company, is seeking a Data Specialist III to manage analytical data in the EQuIS system and coordinate with project managers to meet project schedules. This role may be based in Omaha or Jacksonville.

The position involves data collection tracking, reporting, quality checks, and collaboration with the database administrator to ensure efficient, secure operation of the EQuIS database. EPA/NDAA deliverables are a key focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data management or a related science field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a data manager or scientist using Earthsoft EQuIS.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, including the core EQuIS Schema.
• Experience with Access, EQuIS, EQuIS Collect, EQuIS SPM and/or EQuIS DQM.
• Experience designing and publishing Macro-Enabled Excel worksheets.
• Experience designing and publishing EQuIS RDL reports.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing responsibilities and workloads.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data collection, data tracking, and reporting (Earthsoft EQuIS) with project teams.
• Track deliverables, review lab sample receipts, and perform quality checks.
• Collaborate with the database administrator to keep EQuIS running efficiently.
• Design, modify, or develop reports and queries for data quality and accuracy.
• Coordinate with Earthsoft on technical database inquiries.
• Support data system design, field data collection, processing, and reporting.
• Respond to client data requests and manage data submission packages for programs such as EPA.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
