Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking an Environmental Compliance Technician to support our environmental programs by inspecting facilities, managing waste, collecting data, sampling, maintaining records and assisting with regulatory reporting.

The role requires an associate degree in a related field, at least two years of experience in environmental compliance or manufacturing, and proficiency with MS Office plus familiarity with RC14001 and ISO 9001. Night shifts may occur.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental compliance or manufacturing.
• Experience generating routine regulatory reporting for air, waste and water.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine environmental inspections of facilities and reporting.
• Assist audits, agency inspections and compliance assessments.
• Coordinate waste characterization, profiling, labeling and disposal.
• Conduct sampling for stormwater, fenceline monitoring and waste characterization.
• Maintain and calibrate environmental monitoring equipment.
• Assist in regulatory reports and permit submissions.
• Track environmental performance metrics and sustainability reporting.
