Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to join on-site teams in Anchorage or Fairbanks, AK, Salt Lake City, UT, Omaha, NE, or Portland, ME. You’ll collect, synthesize, and document data related to environmental compliance and assist in permit development and regulatory reporting.

You’ll work with regulatory agencies, prepare written documentation, and guide project staff in meeting environmental requirements, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or other equivalent discipline.
• 5 to 10 years of experience supporting environmental compliance projects.
• Experience with federal and state regulations relating to stormwater, wastewater, air quality/emissions, etc.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site surveys/assessments and evaluations in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Adhere to schedule and financial objectives to achieve project goals.
• Collaborate with environmental staff in data collection and evaluation.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight for written project documentation.
• Review processes to obtain and update environmental permits and plans.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations in proposals.
