Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC seeks an Environmental Compliance Specialist to work on-site at locations in Anchorage or Fairbanks, AK, with field support as needed. The role involves collecting, synthesizing, and documenting data related to environmental compliance regulations and assisting in permits and regulatory reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience in environmental compliance, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong knowledge of key regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or other equivalent discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience supporting environmental compliance projects.
• Experience with stormwater, wastewater, air quality/emissions, oil storage, hazardous materials, and/or waste regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys/assessments per regulatory guidelines and project management directions.
• Ensure schedules and budgets align with project goals.
• Collaborate with environmental staff on data collection, surveys, and data evaluation.
• Provide technical guidance and oversee project documentation.
• Review permits, plans, and regulatory reporting to meet compliance requirements.
• Communicate environmental regulatory requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify data collection methods for site surveys and evaluations.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Maintain safety and alertness at all times.
