Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC seeks an Environmental Compliance Specialist to work on-site at an office location in Anchorage or Fairbanks, AK, Salt Lake City, UT, Omaha, NE, or Portland, ME. You will collect, synthesize, and document data related to environmental compliance (stormwater, wastewater, air quality/emissions, oil storage, hazardous materials) and support permit development and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or other equivalent discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in environmental compliance projects.
• Experience with stormwater, wastewater, air quality/emissions, oil storage, hazardous materials, or waste.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and vehicle eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site surveys/assessments in line with regulations.
• Adhere to scheduled budgets and timelines.
• Collaborate with environmental staff on data collection and evaluation of results.
• Provide guidance and preparation of environmental permit documents and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure proposals meet regulatory requirements and internal standards.
