Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to work on-site at offices in Anchorage or Fairbanks, AK, with additional locations. You will collect, synthesize, and document data related to environmental compliance across stormwater, wastewater, air quality, oil storage, hazardous materials, and waste regulations.

You will assist in preparing permits and regulatory reports, and coordinate with project staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of environmental compliance project experience.
• Experience with federal and state regulations on stormwater, wastewater, air quality/emissions, oil storage, hazardous materials, and/or waste.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and driving eligibility.
• Must pass employment drug and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site surveys/assessments and evaluations according to regulatory guidelines.
• Adhere to schedule and financial objectives to meet project goals.
• Collaborate with environmental staff for data collection and evaluation.
• Provide guidance and review environmental permits, plans, and regulatory reporting.
