Job summary

FAROUK SYSTEMS INC in Houston, TX is seeking an Environmental Coordinator to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety and environmental programs in a manufacturing environment.

You will ensure regulatory compliance across EPA, OSHA, and state agencies, manage permits, conduct audits, and drive sustainability initiatives while collaborating with production and quality teams to minimize risk and promote a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of EPA, OSHA and TCEQ regulations.
• Experience managing environmental permits and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain environmental compliance programs per federal, state and local regulations.
• Coordinate environmental inspections, audits and regulatory reporting.
• Prepare monthly compliance reports and maintain records and permits.
• Develop and deliver environmental awareness and EHS training.
• Investigate environmental incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Support sustainability initiatives including waste reduction and recycling.
