Job summary

KBR is seeking an Environmental Coordinator in Jacksonville, FL to lead compliance with federal, state, and local environmental requirements and to implement the organization’s EH&S plan. Qualifications

• BA degree in environmental engineering, health education or related field.
• Three years directly related work experience in a comparable discipline.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for technical reporting.
• Ability to inspect, analyze findings and develop corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate compliance with federal, state, local and installation environmental requirements.
• Develop and implement EH&S plan; train personnel for environmental hazards.
• Oversee environmental audits and liaise with hazardous waste disposal contractors.
• Ensure proper waste segregation, storage and adherence to 40 CFR requirements.
• Maintain familiarity with EMS and related environmental procedures.
