Job summary

KBR is seeking an Environmental Supervisor to lead and oversee environmental compliance activities for TACOM operations. You will supervise environmental technicians, ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, and manage hazardous materials and waste programs.

The role requires strong leadership, program development, and coordination with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance and achieve program goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance, safety, or related field in an industrial, military, or government environment.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (as required).
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and directly manages the hazardous material and hazardous waste programs.
• Maintains oversight of environmental programs including RCRA, NEPA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and related regulations.
• Develops project plans and sets milestones for program goals.
• Coordinates with higher-level staff on complex projects and develops potential solutions.
• Drafts plans, schedules, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Advises management on environmental compliance matters and regulatory requirements.
