Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Security Manager in Jacksonville, FL to oversee facilities security, access control, protective services and emergency management programs.

You will lead security personnel, implement security policies, and coordinate with external agencies to ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in security management, and an active DoD security mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Security Management, Criminal Justice or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in security management, preferably in a similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of DoD facilities security policies and risk management processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement security management services for facilities, access control and protective duties.
• Direct emergency management programs, training, drills, and coordination with external agencies.
• Supervise security personnel, monitor control desks, CCTV, alarms and communications networks.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policy directives; develop continuity plans.
• Engage stakeholders to reduce disaster impact and safeguard essential operations.
