Job summary

Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (DEMA) seeks a Compliance Program Manager-South to oversee environmental compliance for AZARNG southern facilities, including hazardous waste, air quality, and water programs.

The role requires field work, inspections, and training development, with travel within-state and occasional out-of-state trips. A bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 2+ years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of experience.
• Ability to conduct field inspections and prepare reports.
• Knowledge of EPCRA, SWPPP, SPCC, and hazardous waste regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implements and reports on overall compliance for AZARNG/AZDEMA.
• Provides technical expertise in hazardous waste, air quality, and water compliance.
• Develops training modules for site personnel.
