Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to work on-site at an office location in Anchorage or Fairbanks, AK, Salt Lake City, UT, Omaha, NE, or Portland, ME. You will collect, synthesize, and document data related to environmental compliance across stormwater, wastewater, air quality, oil storage, and hazardous materials programs.

You will rely on your knowledge of regulations to assist in permit preparation, permits reviews, and regulatory-driven reporting, while

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or other equivalent discipline.
5 to 10 years of experience supporting environmental compliance projects.
Experience with federal and state regulations relating to stormwater, wastewater, air quality/emissions, oil storage, hazardous materials, and/or waste.
Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

Conduct and oversee site surveys/assessments in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Adhere to schedule and financial objectives for project goals.
Collaborate with environmental staff on data collection and evaluation.
Provide guidance and oversight to project staff preparing written documentation.
Review processes to obtain/update environmental permits and regulatory reporting.
Ensure proposals meet regulatory requirements and standards.
