Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC seeks an Environmental Compliance Specialist to support regulatory programs across stormwater, wastewater, air quality, and hazardous materials. On-site in Anchorage or Fairbanks, you will assess compliance, prepare permits, and guide field teams.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience, a relevant degree, and strong problem-solving and communication skills to navigate federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience supporting environmental compliance projects.
• Experience with federal and state regulations relating to stormwater, wastewater, air quality/emissions, oil storage, hazardous materials, and/or waste.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and able to operate a vehicle.
• Must pass employment drug and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and evaluations per regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate data collection and field support with project staff.
• Prepare and review environmental permits and plans.
• Review regulations to ensure proposals meet requirements.
• Develop data collection methods for site surveys.
• Maintain safety and compliance in all tasks.
