Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to work on-site in Anchorage or Fairbanks, AK, and other locations. You will collect, synthesize, and document data related to environmental compliance programs including stormwater, wastewater, and air quality regulations, and assist with permits and reporting.

The role requires analyzing complex regulatory requirements, coordinating with staff, and delivering high-quality documentation while maintaining safety and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience supporting environmental compliance projects.
• Experience with regulations for stormwater, wastewater, air quality/emissions, oil storage, hazardous materials, and/or waste.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site surveys/assessments and evaluations per regulatory guidelines.
• Adhere to schedule and financial objectives.
• Collaborate with environmental staff in data collection and evaluation.
• Provide scientific and technical guidance to project staff.
• Review permits, plans, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Determine data collection methods for site surveys.
