Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking an Environmental Compliance Lead for datacenter construction, onsite with clients. The role coordinates with experts to satisfy environmental requirements and aligns actions with the construction schedule.

You will manage consultants, translate permit conditions, and mitigate environmental risks to keep milestones on track. Requires 5+ years in DC construction/commissioning, strong stakeholder communication, and a proven ability to drive

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DC construction and commissioning standards.
• Experience managing environmental compliance planning and execution for pre-construction and turnover.
• Ability to communicate environmental requirements to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with subject-matter experts to satisfy compliance obligations and align with construction schedule.
• Partner with Permit Managers to translate permit conditions for construction teams and ensure environmental approvals.
• Manage environmental and construction consultants supporting site delivery and inspections.
• Identify and mitigate environmental issues (stormwater, wetlands, streams, endangered species, air compliance) and assist with permit modifications.
• Support regulatory agency, stakeholder, and community engagement for new builds.
• Develop environmental risk mitigations to enable datacenter construction within timelines.
• Oversee pre-construction activities and turnover environmental planning and execution.
• Communicate environmental requirements to internal and external stakeholders and contribute to Environmental Excellence program.
• On-site at client site to enable delivery and strengthen client relationships.
