Job summary

Radius Recycling, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead regional environmental programs and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local permits, while supporting site operations with practical pollution-prevention measures.

The role includes fieldwork, EMS management, audits, and coordination with regulatory agencies, vendors, and internal teams to maintain safe operations and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with preference for engineering or science background including environmental science, chemistry, geology, or biology.
• Minimum of four to seven years’ experience with environmental regulations, sampling, testing of air, water, soil, hazardous waste, and other materials.
• Requires possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to drive a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all Company Environmental standards are strictly adhered to.
• Monitors capital projects and provides recommendations for improving environmental controls.
• Assists in development and implementation of environmental procedures for all sites.
• Monitors pending legislative and regulatory actions to evaluate potential impact on operations and develops appropriate response plans.
• Helps provide a safe environment for all employees, customers, and visitors.
• Prepares and submits permit documents, reports, and records to regulatory agencies on time.
• Maintains on-site records for all environmental regulatory requirements and meets due dates for submittals.
