Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking an Environmental Manager for the Corrigan Plywood site in Corrigan, Texas. This role will oversee the facility’s environmental compliance programs, coordinating with regulatory agencies and internal teams to ensure adherence to air, water, waste, SPCC, TSCA, and related regulations.

The position entails managing compliance activities, supporting project reviews, and training staff on environmental standards to sustain sustainable operations at the Corrigan facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental field with experience in compliance oversight.
• Experience applying environmental laws in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead programs and train personnel on environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as compliance owner for the site and manage EPA/state requirements.
• Track environmental performance metrics and support continuous improvement of EMS.
• Coordinate training and implement Environmental 7 Element Risk Management System.
