Job summary

RahrBSG in Shakopee, MN, seeks an Environmental Compliance Manager to lead regulatory programs across the organization, focusing on air, water, wastewater, and waste management. You will partner with operations, engineering, and leadership to ensure responsible compliance and risk reduction while supporting growth.

The role requires strong knowledge of environmental regulation, permitting, and EMS, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration and program leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an environmental discipline; master’s preferred.
• Experience leading compliance programs across multi-site manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations and permit processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of corporate environmental compliance programs.
• Interpret regulations and communicate obligations to leaders.
• Manage permits, licenses, registrations, and compliance plans.
• Provide strategic guidance on environmental risks and permitting obligations.
• Develop standards, procedures, and EMS programs across sites.
• Oversee third-party consultants and attorneys
• Coordinate internal audits and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain documentation supporting permits and regulatory obligations.
