Job summary

Generac is seeking a Senior Corporate Environmental Specialist to advance the company’s global environmental compliance and EMS programs. You will translate complex regulatory requirements into practical site implementations, partner with plant leadership, and drive a culture of accountability across multiple facilities.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving on the factory floor, cross‑functional collaboration, and supporting capital projects from an environmental perspective.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Occupational Safety, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of environmental compliance experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Ability to travel locally up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for environmental compliance across multiple facilities.
• Interpret regulations and translate requirements into site plans.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and support inspections.
• Support EMS (ISO 14001) initiatives and compliance training.
