Responsibilities

• Maintains current knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and communicates with regulators on reportable incidents and permitting matters.
• Assesses compliance with permit and regulatory requirements and tracks corrective actions from audits.
• Reviews impact of changes in procedures, materials, and equipment for environmental and safety compliance.
• Directs testing and monitoring programs and provides environmental technical guidance to facility staff.
