Job summary

AMVAC CHEMICAL CORP in Marsing, ID, seeks an experienced Environmental Manager to oversee regulatory compliance for Idaho and Oregon sites. You will develop, maintain, and improve programs and training to meet EPA and state requirements, with on-site duties at Marsing and occasional travel to Clackamas.

You will lead audits, reporting, and stakeholder communication, while guiding HSE coordination and incident investigations. A CHMM and 5+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, HSE or engineering field.
• Ability to obtain CHMM certification.
• 5+ years of environmental experience in industrial/construction settings.
• Experience with RCRA, SPCC, EPCRA, Tier II and TSCA requirements.
• Prior supervisory/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce environmental regulations, policies and procedures.
• Coordinate incident investigations and maintain records of environmental performance.
• Create and manage environmental training programs and records.
• Monitor regulatory updates and recommend policy/procedural improvements.
• Audit and inspect environmental programs (SPCC, hazardous waste).
• Prepare and file environmental reports (hazardous waste, EPCRA Tier II, TRI).
• Communicate requirements to employees and contractors at all levels.
• Coach and develop managers and field personnel on policy compliance.
