Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Safety, or related field preferred (or 5+ years relevant experience).
• Strong knowledge of EHS laws and environmental regulations.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and technical procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental programs related to air emissions, wastewater, and solid/hazardous waste.
• Ensure compliance with EPA and Iowa DNR regulations.
• Oversee environmental audits, inspections, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Track and report environmental metrics.
• Coordinate environmental improvement projects and regulatory responses.
• Train and oversee employees performing environmental duties, including hazardous waste management.
• Partner with corporate environmental resources and site leadership.
