Job summary

Ash Grove Cement, a CRH company, seeks an Environmental Manager to lead plant environmental programs in Texas. You will ensure compliance with air, water and waste permits, drive best practices, and coordinate with regulators and stakeholders to meet performance targets.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 7 years of experience, with strong communication and leadership skills for a diverse team. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental field or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the environmental field, cement/mining or related industry.
• Experience working with regulatory agencies.
• Proficient in English communication (written and verbal).
• Ability to lead and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and ensure compliance with environmental permits and laws.
• Maintain compliance tracking and deadlines across environmental programs.
• Lead audits and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies and community stakeholders.
• Coordinate and supervise environmental testing and reporting.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
