Job summary

Enbridge Inc. seeks an Environment Advisor in the United States to oversee environmental planning, permitting, and inspection coordination.

You will lead environmental compliance, coordinate regulatory activities, and support emergency response while guiding continuous improvement across operations. The role requires 4+ years in the field, a Bachelor's in environment, strong communication, and the ability to travel about 40% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environment or related field.
• 4+ years of environmental experience, preferably in pipeline, industry, and infrastructure sectors.
• Familiarity with environmental assessment methodologies, permitting requirements, and environmental protection best practices.
• Strong organizational, time management, and computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance activities across operations, maintenance, projects, and emergency response.
• Handle permitting, compliance tracking, and regulatory reporting for air, water, waste, EPCRA, and SPCC.
• Coordinate inspections, audits, agency interactions, emissions testing, and fugitive monitoring.
• Support ICS-based emergency response and maintain required environmental certifications.
• Develop environmental awareness programs, training materials, and outreach resources.
• Lead post-incident monitoring, remediation, and regulatory reporting with continuous improvement ideas.
