Job summary

Enbridge Inc. seeks a Sr Advisor Environment to lead environmental assessment, permitting and compliance for major U.S. energy-infrastructure projects.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Construction Services and external regulators to drive sustainable decision-making and reduce risk across all project phases, while supporting training and outreach efforts. This role spans multiple U.S. locations with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental, physical or biological sciences, engineering, or related Environmental, Health and Safety field.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in relevant environmental applications; 9 years if no university degree.
• Ability to understand diverse regulatory, scientific and technical issues.
• Ability to coordinate and write clear documents for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental reviews, surveys and permitting for maintenance and capital projects.
• Establish systems for regulatory compliance and develop procedures.
• Provide mentorship and resources to Engineering, Construction Services, Business Development, Law, etc.
• Develop environmental awareness, training and outreach materials for project planning.
• Participate in agency outreach, public meetings and open houses as required.
• Develop post-project monitoring plans to support smooth transition to operations.
