Job summary

Enbridge is seeking an Environment Advisor to oversee environmental planning, permitting, and inspection coordination across our pipeline operations. You will ensure regulatory compliance and support environmental safety initiatives.

You will lead compliance efforts, engage regulators, and support emergency response and training with substantial travel and a strong focus on environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environment or related field.
• 4+ years of environmental experience, preferably in pipeline, industry, and infrastructure sectors.
• Familiarity with environmental assessment methodologies, permitting requirements, and environmental protection best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance activities and support achievement of environmental objectives and goals across operations, maintenance, projects, and emergency response efforts.
• Handle environmental permitting, compliance tracking, and regulatory reporting for air, water, waste, land management, EPCRA, and SPCC requirements, while providing guidance and resources.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections, audits, agency interactions, emissions testing, and fugitive emissions monitoring to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Support emergency response activities through ICS, directing remedial actions and maintaining required certifications.
• Develop and deliver environmental awareness initiatives, training, and outreach materials.
• Lead post-incident monitoring, remediation, regulatory reporting, and closure activities with continuous improvement.
