Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Supervisor for TACOM (RRAD) contingency work. You will lead environmental technicians, ensure compliance with RCRA, Clean Air Act, and Clean Water Act, and manage hazardous materials programs under Army specifications.

This on-site role requires strong supervisory experience and the ability to coordinate with DoD programs; employment is contingent upon award.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance, safety, or related field in an industrial, military, or government environment.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience
• Obtain & maintain required Environmental certifications (e.g., RCRA, HAZMAT)
• Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (as required)
• U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Supervise hazardous material and hazardous waste programs.
• Oversee compliance with RCRA, NEPA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, EPCRA, and related environmental laws.
• Directly oversee regulatory compliance of hazardous materials activities under Texas regulations.
• Develop program plans, objectives, and milestone schedules.
• Coordinate with higher level staff on high-cost or controversial projects.
• Prepare and present plans and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Incorporate federal, state, and local requirements into program design and implementation.
• Manage program budgets and resources.
• Serve as liaison during regulatory visits and inspections.
• Prepare reports on noncompliance and notices of violations.
