Job summary

Foster Farms is seeking an Environmental Compliance Manager to oversee the Environmental Management System at the Belgravia Complex, including the processing plant, feed mill, and live ranches. You will partner with operations leadership to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires managing regulatory reporting, training site leadership, and coordinating with external contractors to maintain high environmental performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Natural Science, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance, environmental management, manufacturing operations, or a related environmental role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and environmental compliance databases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to collaborate across all levels.
• Willingness to travel among Belgravia Complex facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental management system (EMS) compliance across Belgravia Complex facilities.
• Manage regulatory reporting (e.g., Form R, Tier II) and related submissions.
• Monitor site performance and provide guidance to leadership on compliance.
• Coordinate environmental training for site leadership and associates.
• Oversee external contractors to ensure regulatory and company requirements are met.
• Maintain LOCUS compliance databases and SAP-related records.
• Lead root cause analyses and coordinate corrective/preventive actions.
