Job summary

WM is seeking a Landfill Operations Supervisor I/Environmental Compliance Supervisor on-site. The role supervises daily landfill operations, staff, contractors, and consultants, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating workflow, reviewing operations, supervising maintenance, collecting readings, and evaluating personnel performance. A relevant background in civil/environmental fields is preferred, with an emphasis on safety and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise landfill staff, contractors, and consultants.
• Coordinate workflow to achieve operational goals.
• Oversee daily landfill operations and safety/compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
• Collect readings and submit records/reports.
• Coach, train, and evaluate landfill personnel.
