Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking an Environmental Compliance Inspector to monitor construction activities and ensure SWPPP compliance under applicable regulations. You will inspect sites, identify sensitive resources, and coordinate corrective actions with the project team.

The role requires a degree in Environmental Science and at least 5 years of regulatory experience, including NEPA projects. Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in Environmental Management, compliance, SWPPP inspection and mitigation planning.
• Minimum 1 year's professional experience in utilities construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations.
• CPESC/CESCL or NYSESCCP certifications or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction activities for compliance with permits and agreements.
• Inspect sites and ensure SWPPP adherence and regulatory compliance.
• Identify sensitive resources and coordinate corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain daily reports and communicate with inspectors and managers.
