Job summary

The role requires a Virginia DEQ E&S Inspector certification within one year of appointment, a valid driver’s license, and strong ability to communicate code requirements to builders and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret site plans and permit documents.
• Conduct pre-construction meetings and on-site inspections.

• Coordinate E&S and VSMP compliance with stakeholders.
• Maintain inspection logs and prepare reports and letters.
• Review construction plans and documents for compliance.
• Communicate effectively with City and State agencies.
