Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Quality Manager to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project in New York. You will review construction work plans, manage quality plans, and report on compliance and environmental permitting requirements for a major rail tunnel initiative.

In this role you will lead quality assurance activities, coordinate testing and audits, and ensure documentation supports FTA certification. The ideal candidate will bring extensive QA leadership across large rail or tunnel projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in quality management for large public transportation projects.
• Advanced certifications: CQM/CQE.
• Familiarity with FTA Safety and Security certification program during closeout.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement a quality plan aligned with client requirements and FTA regulations.
• Review contractor quality, testing, and inspection plans for adequacy.
• Monitor contractor work for compliance and deviations.
• Coordinate testing and inspection activities and audits.
• Organize documentation for Safety and Security certification process.
• Audit quality plan implementation and ensure traceability of reports.
