Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Project Manager Software Administration to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project, focusing on environmental compliance reviews of construction work plans and regular permitting reporting. You will work with a delivery partner team on a nationally significant infrastructure program for the Northeast Corridor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology or a closely related discipline.
• 3-5 years of prior experience performing construction site inspections.
• Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the NY/NJ Metro Area.
• Valid driver’s license. Reports and documentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of construction as it relates to environmental compliance.
• Support contract administration of environmental/remediation programs including tracking schedule, excavation size, and soil tonnages.
• Prepare daily activity reports.
• Interpret scientific data and specifications.
• Conduct environmental screenings, site assessments, and impact analyses for civil works and construction projects.
• Track projects through NEPA and environmental permitting lifecycles.
• Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies; installation personnel; project managers; utilities; contractors; and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance on environmental regulations, permit requirements, and compliance strategies.
• Support environmental compliance programs, stormwater management, waste management, and construction environmental controls.
• Review project Environmental Protection Plans and verify compliance during all phases.
