Job summary

ERM seeks a Consulting Associate, Environmental Compliance to join the Safe & Sustainable Operations team in Houston, Texas or New Orleans, Louisiana. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience across compliance, EHS management systems, and auditing for major energy and tech clients.

You will develop technical reports, assist on-site audits, and support clients in meeting regulatory requirements while growing with ERM's global consulting network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Recent graduate to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Driver's license required for travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on environmental compliance projects and auditing.
• Develop procedures, plans, permit applications, and technical reports.
• Assess regulatory compliance across environmental programs and media.
• Support follow-up corrective actions aligned with regulations.
• Deliver on-site EHS compliance support at client facilities.
• Collaborate with ERM Partners and Project Managers to deliver projects.
