Job summary

Stantec is seeking a mid to senior-level professional to join our Midwest group. This role focuses on technical work, project management, and business development, with opportunities for leadership and growth in the regional market.

The ideal candidate will have consulting or environmental engineering experience, be self-motivated, and work well in teams. Responsibilities include managing projects, preparing proposals, and developing business with key clients in a seller/doer capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering, geology or related field.
• Minimum of six years in an engineering consulting environment.
• Preferably two years of project management experience coordinating tasks and clients.
• Professional registration (PE) or ability to obtain in 6–12 months; MN and ND licensure expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support environmental and engineering projects for municipal, industrial and commercial clients.
• Prepare proposals, scopes, and fee estimates; manage multiple projects.
• Prepare technical reports, design drawings, and permit applications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on planning, design, and construction.
• Liaise with clients and sub-consultants to meet project needs in a timely manner.
