Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer to contribute to a range of projects from small to mid-size within the Environmental Services Division. The role supports design, drafting, and documentation under supervision, performing routine calculations and field tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports project team in development of design documentation, plans and reports.
• Assists in design development through sketches, models, diagrams, and other formats.
• Uses Civil 3D and other software to develop three‑dimensional models of civil systems.
• Prepares and revises documentation across project phases.
• Coordinates with other disciplines to ensure design intent.
• Reviews shop drawings and submittals and helps with RFIs and site observation reports.
• Assists in developing discipline specifications and evaluating civil systems and materials.
• Attends project coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contributes to value engineering and cost estimating.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Licensed Professional Engineer

5-10 years of experience
