Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical methods. The role may require standing, handling organic solvents, lab glassware and specialized equipment.

The position focuses on metals prep and related preparations, with a 2nd shift schedule (3pm-11:30pm Tue-Sat; training on 1st shift). The company offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related laboratory experience in lieu of degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including reading, writing and speaking in English.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine lab tasks to gain experience with methods and programs.
• Preparation of samples using standard techniques.
• Performing chemical analysis using standard techniques.
• Evaluation and quantification of data and reporting to supervisor.
• Maintaining routine instrument calibration and housekeeping.
• Documenting NCMs for projects with quality issues as needed.
• Work under supervisor using routine methods and ensure timely QC samples.
