Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is seeking an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples, following approved methods and SOPs. The role involves standing for long periods, handling solvents, and working with analytical instrumentation.

Responsibilities include sample prep, data evaluation, and maintaining instrument performance. Training shifts will occur before the 2nd shift and QA/documentation duties are essential for compliance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or related field or an Associate Degree, or 2 years of lab experience in lieu of degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Authorized to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques and perform chemical analysis.
• Record and report data; evaluate test results and ensure accuracy.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance and QC checks (MDL, LOD/LOQ).
• Maintain training records and compliance with QA standards.
• Support other lab areas as needed.
