Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking an Associate Chemist focused on environment testing and metals preparation. The role involves preparing and analyzing environmental samples using standard analytical techniques under QA programs and SOPs.

The position is 2nd shift (3pm–11:30pm, Tue–Sat) with first-shift training. Compensation is hourly USD 18–20.9 with a 10% shift differential; full benefits accrue for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related laboratory experience in lieu of degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required, including reading, writing and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lab tasks to gain experience with methods, practices, and programs.
• Prepare samples using standard techniques and perform chemical analyses.
• Record, report data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor.
• Maintain routine instrument calibration and QC samples as required.
