Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing is seeking an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples with standard analytical techniques, focusing on metals preparation and analysis. The role involves standing for long periods, handling organic solvents, and operating laboratory equipment.

Position is second shift (3pm-11:30pm, Tue-Sat) with first-shift training. Requirements include a chemistry degree or related experience and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related laboratory experience in lieu of degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including reading, writing and speaking in English.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Performs routine lab tasks providing experience with methods and programs.
• Preparation and analysis of samples using standard techniques.
• Recording and reporting data and any unusual test occurrences.
• Performing routine instrument maintenance and QC samples.
• Maintaining training documentation and housekeeping in work area.
• Works under supervision using routine methods and participates in other lab areas as needed
