The Green Corps Campaigner program is a four-month crash course combining classroom training and field work on an environmental campaign, designed to introduce you to environmental advocacy and organizing.

Campaigners will run a campaign, recruit volunteers, gain media coverage, relocate as needed, and be considered for advancement after the program. Compensation is a target annual package of $40,000–$44,450 with benefits, including health insurance after 90 days.

Formación

• A passion for protecting the environment and dedication to environmental advocacy and organizing.
• Strong communication skills, including writing and public speaking.
• Leadership experience on campus or in the community.
• Flexibility to adjust plans when campaigns change.
• Interest in a short-term position to learn organizing basics while making a difference.

Responsabilidades

• Run one campaign to identify and train activists and volunteers and push for policy changes to protect the environment.
• Identify and train activists and volunteers; build community support for campaign goals.
• Gain media coverage for campaign goals and public awareness.
• Be geographically flexible as campaigns require relocation.
