Job summary

Green Corps is seeking a Campaigner to run environmental campaigns and develop a network of volunteers. You will identify activists on campus or in your community, train them, and work to gain media coverage and public support for policy changes.

The role offers four months of intensive training and field experience, with opportunities for advancement within Green Corps and related movement networks. Candidates should be ready to relocate as campaigns require.

Qualifications

• Passion for protecting the environment and interest in environmental advocacy and organizing work.
• Strong communication skills including writing and speaking.
• Leadership experience on campus or in the community.
• Willingness to relocate and be geographically flexible for campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Run a campaign to apply campaign skills on a pressing environmental issue.
• Identify and train activists and volunteers in campus or community settings.
• Develop media coverage and community support to influence policy changes.
