Job summary

Green Corps is seeking participants for its Campaigner program, a four-month crash course combining classroom instruction with field work on environmental campaigns. Campaigners will recruit and train volunteers, build community support, pursue media coverage, and strive for policy changes to protect the environment.

The role requires geographic flexibility and relocation to campaigns where needed.

Qualifications

• No previous organizing experience required.
• Interest in environmental advocacy and organizing.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to relocate and be geographically flexible.

Responsibilities

• Run one environmental campaign and mobilize campus or community activists.
• Attend classroom training and develop basic organizing skills.
• Possibility of advancement and additional training after the four-month program.
• Discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance.
