Job summary

Qualifications

• Passion for protecting the environment and committing to advocacy and organizing work.
• Strong written and verbal communication, public speaking, and collaboration with others.
• Leadership experience on campus or in the community.
• Dedication, goal orientation, and flexibility to adjust plans with campaign changes.

Responsibilities

• Run three to five campaigns across the year in multiple US locations.
• Lead a grassroots canvass office, hire and manage canvass staff, educate the public and fundraise.
• Receive eight weeks of classroom training to learn organizing theory and skills.
• Connect graduates with organizing jobs after completing the year.
• Operate with discretion and sound judgment in significant matters.
